Welcome to the Perigord in the Limousin! GLME 2014 summer camp organised by the Gai Moto Club
On a hill overlooking the little village of Ayen, a camp of bungalows awaits 180 bikers from 23rd to 30th August 2014. From the moment you arrive in the camp, you will be amazed at the exceptional 360° view of the rolling countryside of the Perigord and Limousin. The impression of space that the position of Ayen gives is ideal for the brave weary biker after a day’s excursion; you will appreciate how comfortable your bungalow is. Drawn in all the compass direction, the 14 proposed excursions will allow you to discover (or rediscover) the most beautiful corners of this France of small mountains, on the edge of the Massif Central, very green and full of historical and pre-historical heritage! The Lascaux caves and their famous prehistoric wall paintings are just 20 kilometres from Ayen. Another reason to make “Prehistory” the GLME camp’s theme. Animal skins and leopard skin dress will be all the fashion for summer 2014! But for all that we shall not be playing with fire. A GLME camp is above all about the respect of the other, good humour and being careful on the road. The departure of each excursion will start with a remainder of the security guidelines: driving in staggered formation, knowing when to wait for the one following when direction change, keeping the security distance, warn about obstacles… Each evening, the camp’s activity will start with the meal and continue with a festive evening show and often with a dance. This web site is an appetizer of the week’s biking in the Perigord in Limousin!
Enjoy the visit!
